Nestled at the top of the mountain, the Mountain Home Inn offers breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay Area. Even when the kitchen was closed for dinner, they graciously accommodated us in front of the fireplace in the dining room. The terrace overlooking the bay was the perfect spot for evening drinks, enhancing the already stunning scenery. Access to mountain trails right from the hotel made exploring the redwoods of Muir Woods National Monument a breeze. the combination of modern amenities and a cozy, historic atmosphere created a truly relaxing experience. The spacious rooms with king beds, fireplaces, and jacuzzi bathtubs provided a luxurious retreat after a day of hiking. the welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the hotel's proximity to various San Francisco Bay villages, made it an ideal location for a peaceful getaway with friends or family. the breakfast with a view was a delightful way to start the day, offering a taste of local flavors and hospitality. Overall, the Mountain Home Inn's blend of nature, comfort, and memorable experiences make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique and rejuvenating escape.
